I couldn't believe I spent 3 years behind the bar before ever experimenting with RumChata. It's now one of my favorites!
This RumChata recipe takes on the classic Pina Colada. RumChata is a creamy liqueur made with Caribbean rum, cream, and cinnamon. It is already a tropical liquor, so it just makes sense to bring the most tropical drink I know and combined the two.
RumChata Colada - Rumchata Recipe
Ingredients
1 ½ ounce RumChata
1 ounce Malibu
Club soda
Pineapple juice
Directions
combine RumChata and Malibu into a shaker, add ice, and shake vigorously
Strain over fresh ice
Top with equal part club soda and pineapple juice
garnish with pineapple
Note
this drink may separate over time. It doesn't alter taste, but I do not recommend making in batches.
